Nina Keali’iwahamana

Nina Kealiiwahamana was created into music because the little girl of the fantastic Vickie I’i Rodrigues. With some schooling mainly from her family members, she soon transferred into public functionality, joining the very popular Hawaii Phone calls radio display in 1958 being a live soloist, keeping her popularity using the display until 1974. Following this, she proceeded to go in to the Royal Hawaiian resort during the best era of well-known Hawaiian tourism among the leading females of Hawaiian melody, in addition to recording her traditional record, Nina, with Jack port DeMello, among the main movers in Hawaiian documenting. After her period on the Royal Hawaiian, Nina toured thoroughly, performing being a mezzo soprano with several symphonies and Hawaiian rings alike, and a significant amount of performances overseas with respect to the Hawaii Guests Bureau. In 1992 she received the life time accomplishment Na Hoku Hanohano (Hawaiian Grammy), implemented in 1995 with the discharge of two even more albums on Hill Apple and Surfside. 2003 noticed the re-release of the traditional Nina album.
