A local of Abilene, TX, singer/songwriter Nathan Hamilton pulls on his rural root base to make vivid and sometimes startling pictures of small-town Americana. Having chose against a profession in marketing, Hamilton transplanted himself to California in his early twenties to spotlight performing and play composing. By 1993, Hamilton was prepared to concentrate on music full-time and came back to Tx to find focus on a equine ranch near Austin. In 1995, Hamilton enlisted in the choice country bluegrass clothing, the Sharecroppers, and noticed the release of 1 well-received album, Heart from the Sharecroppers. The cooperation using the Sharecroppers finished in 1998, and Hamilton’s solo debut, Tuscola, would follow in 1999 on Steppin’ Rock records.
