Natasha Marsh

Natasha Marsh topped the U.K.’s classical graphs in 2007 with Amour, her debut record of classical crossover materials. An operatic soprano hailing from Brecon, Wales, Marsh grew up by music-minded parents and originally pursued a profession in musical movie theater. She afterwards shifted her concentrate toward opera, getting jobs with such observed agencies as Grange Recreation area Opera, Music Theater Wales, Opera Holland Recreation area, and Glyndebourne Touring Opera. As Marsh’s profile grew within the opera globe, so do her crossover potential clients, and she ultimately signed a connection with EMI Classics in Sept 2006. Amour premiered the following Feb, mixing up operatic arias with an increase of pop-oriented material. As the mixture angered some opera traditionalists, Amour even so debuted at number 1 in the U.K. Classical Musician graph and received a nomination through the 2008 Classical BRIT Honours.
