Motorbaby

Made up of Sharon Middendorf in vocals and guitar, Ronnie Mancuso in bass, and Lez Warner in drums, the NYC trio Motorbaby mixes straight-ahead rock with trippy psychedelia. Middendorf grew up in Cleveland, OH, and began pursuing music young after being inspired by her mom and grandmother (both music instructors). Down the road, she made a decision to relocate to NEW YORK to create it like a musician. To aid herself of these early, slim years, she became a supplementary in rock video clips (around the Beastie Males’ “She’s onto it” and Cheap Trick’s “Tonight It’s You”), aswell as modeling for Large Times publication and an appearance with ZZ Best like a dancer in the 1st MTV Video Music Honours. Soon after developing the music group Ten Wings (who released the recording Wishing Well on Cargo Information), Middendorf also discovered time for you to collaborate with additional musicians, enhancing and perfecting her songwriting on the way. After Ten Wings folded, Middendorf created Motorbaby with fellow music artists/close friends Mancuso (ex-Beggars & Thieves) and Warner (ex-Cult and Waterboys). Their melodic however rocking self-titled debut premiered on Mercury in middle-’98. It had been four years until they released another recording (2002’s Rise), and for the time being Middendorf’s 1st starring role inside a film, Terror Firmer, was revealed by Troma Movies.
