Kable

Kable may be the nom de psychedelia of Houston-based singer/songwriter Kay Bonya. After putting an early on home-recorded track over the seminal neo-psych compilation Succour, Bonya documented two complete albums as Kable, both of these released over the cultishly adored experimental psych-noise indie Fleece Information. A few of 1995’s Chlorophyll includes a specific acoustic delicacy to it, while 1997’s Tardy On a regular basis is normally a full-fledged freakout with Bonya’s overdubbed vocals dueling with her kitchen-sink one-woman music group, mixing her folk root base with evermore abrasive affects. Unfortunately, by 2001, Kable acquired remained tranquil since that unnerving discharge.
