Morris Minor & the Majors

A short-lived comedy group that were able to have a big success within the 1980s. Morris Small as well as the Majors was the brainchild of Tony Hawks, an British comedian. Hawks called himself Morris Small and recruited two various other comedians (who passed the brands Rusty Wing and Phil Errup). The group documented and released “Stutter Rap (No Rest Til Bedtime)” in 1987. Essentially a parody from the Beastie Guys hits “Combat for Your Best” and “No Rest Til Brooklyn,” “Stutter Rap” became lots one strike in Australia and reached number 4 within the U.K., offering over 200,000 copies. Another single, “This is actually the Chorus,” premiered in 1988. That one was a parody from the Share, Aitken & Waterman created strikes of Rick Astley and Kylie Minogue. “This is actually the Chorus” didn’t chart well.
