Jon Fratelli

Scottish singer/guitarist Jon Fratelli initial found prominence as frontman of unruly indie rock trio the Fratellis before getting into some side tasks in the past due noughties. Delivered John Paul Lawler in Glasgow in 1979, he separately released a Bob Dylan-esque debut record, Free of charge Urban Clown, under his very own name, before developing the Fratellis with Barry Wallace and Gordon McRory in 2005. The music group scored a big success with “Chelsea Dagger” and its own parent record, Costello Music; the music group earned a Brit Award for Greatest United kingdom Newcomer. After an appearance on the Coachella Celebration, however, Fratelli briefly left the music group, unable to cope with the stresses of touring. Pursuing their 2008 sophomore record, Right here We Stand, the three-piece announced a hiatus, and Fratelli teamed up with burlesque membership vocalist Lou Hickey to create lounge-pop clothing Codeine Velvet Membership. After a swan tune efficiency in Japan, the set parted business and Fratelli started focus on a single effort with maker Tony Hoffer (Depeche Setting). The producing recording, Psycho Jukebox, premiered on Island Information in 2011.
