The first choice and keyboardist of Maulidi Music Party, typically the most popular taurab music group in Kenya through the 1970s and ’80s, Mohamed Adio Shigoo has continued to offer an infectious design of dance music. As well as ex-Maulidi Musical Party bassist and vocalist, Jumaa Bakari Chera, Shigoo continues to be among Kenya’s top program players, associated such top-ranked performers as Asha Abdo Sulieman and Zein L’Abdin. An associate of Zein Musical Party, in the past due ’60s, Shigoo became a member of with bandmates Maulidi Juma, Zahura Swaleh, and Molika to create Maulidi Musical Party, called after vocalist Maulidi Juma, in 1972. Through the nearly 2 decades the fact that group was jointly, they recorded many strike albums including Maulawi and Jino La Pembe. In 1990, they documented Mombasa Wedding Particular at a women-only marriage ceremony.
