Mitylion is a single project from NJ musician Ari Katz, most widely known for his function fronting the influential hardcore music group Lifetime plus a couple of other projects like Zero No and Miss TK as well as the Revenge. In 2011, as Hurricane Irene bore down on his house in seaside Asbury Recreation area, Katz delivered his family members inland while he remained behind to provide for his home. While weathering the brutal surprise, Katz began composing the material that could eventually constitute the ten tracks on Mitylion’s debut. Though musically up to date by hardcore and punk, his use Mitylion incorporates a number of different designs and appears like glitchy synths, classic spirit, warm beachside vibes, and jagged pop. Nite Flite, Katz’s debut as Mitylion, premiered by Don Giovanni Information in past due 2015.
