Mitty Collier

Vocalist Mitty Collier is most beneficial known on her behalf sensual orchestrated ballad “I PUT a Talk to My Guy,” a 1964 Chess one, which ironically wasn’t her highest-charting one. A later one, “Writing You,” was a high Ten R&B strike. Blessed June 21, 1941, in Birmingham, AL, Mitty Collier sang in cathedral as a teenager and toured using the Hayes Outfit, a gospel group. Collier’s various other Chess singles had been “KEEP COMING BACK Baby” b/w “Aint That Like,” the neighborhood strike “For My Guy” b/w “Help Me,” “Writing You” b/w ” LEAVE,” “Viewing and Waiting around” b/w “Like Just Last night,” “WHICH WILL BE SUFFICIENT” b/w “Git Out,” and “You’re the only person” b/w “GET IT DONE CONFIDENTLY.” In 1969, Collier agreed upon with Peachtree Information of Atlanta, GA and released the singles “REAL LOVE Hardly ever Comes Easy” and “You Harm SO EXCELLENT” b/w “I CANNOT Lose.” Her additional releases will be the solitary “Allow Them Chat” as well as the Compact disc Tones of Genius. In 1972, Collier remaining secular music and started performing gospel music.
