Mike Brosnan

b. 3 Apr 1950, Rotorua, New Zealand. Brosnan began playing piano at age five, before signing up for the Derelicts, a Shadows cover music group, in the middle-60s (one new member, George Barris, is constantly on the play bass with him even today). The Derelicts afterwards progressed into Nucleus. His 1st contact with blues arrived when Barris performed him the debut recording by John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. After that he embarked on a lifelong odyssey of blues finding. Rev. Gary Davis and Blind Baker had been his greatest affects, alongside regional musician Carl Wyant, whom he fulfilled following a spell within the military. He offers released some albums for his personal Soaring Kiwi Music Organization, which are actually distributed through Australian record organization Shop Records.
