Miguel Matamoros

Probably one of the most important Cuban composers ever, Miguel Matamoros wrote a large number of popular requirements such as for example “Lagrimas Negras,” “Child de la Loma,” “Mujer de Antonio,” and “Un Que Siembra Su Maiz.” The majority of his compositions originally made an appearance on recordings from the Trío Matamoros — including Rafael Cueto and Ciro Rodríguez — through the 1930s. Because of addresses by Celia Cruz, Beny Even more, Maria Dolores Pradera, and Daniel Santos, Matamoros’ compositions joined the favorite Latin consciousness for many years to come.
