Maxeen

The stylized pop/rock of Maxeen pulls heavily through the sounds from the ’80s, especially the authorities and Pixies. The trio emerged together in middle-2002 in LA when vocalist/bassist Tom Bailey (who got mostly developed in Akron, OH) came back to California, his condition of delivery. Once there, he crossed pathways with guitarist Shannon McMurray and drummer Jay Skowronek, who got met earlier by way of a musician needed advertisement. McMurray was a SoCal indigenous spending his times as an primary school instructor, while East Coastline film college grad Skowronek got headed western world to pursue dreams of rock and roll stardom. The three quickly clicked and within half a year of developing, Maxeen got landed a cope with regional indie SideOneDummy Information; 2003 further discovered them playing schedules in the summer’s Warped Tour and noticed the release of the self-titled debut record in November. The people toured behind the record with bands just like the Slackers, the Structure, and the Fits, ultimately inking a cope with Warner Bros. in January 2005. Maxeen place to focus on their label debut and continuing playing various displays with guitarist Sean Beste up to speed instead of McMurray. Hello Echo: Tour Model premiered digitally in middle-2006, and even though it got yet going to retail, fans may possibly also choose copies up through the band at displays.
