Though Mattafix’s Marlon Roudette and Preetesh Hirji result from differing backgrounds (Roudette was raised on the island of St. Vincent, where he analyzed the metal drums, while Hirji was created to Indian parents in London and was fascinated with the pc), like a music group they play metropolitan, poppy music that ties in flawlessly on Western radio.
