Massonix

Massonix can be an alias utilized by pioneering Uk electronica maker Graham Massey for live shows and occasionally studio room recordings. Massey surfaced within the 1980s within the music group Biting Tongues, which released an recording along with a few EPs on Manufacturing plant Information in 1985-1986, plus much more notably because the founding person in 808 Condition. Under his management, 808 Condition released many groundbreaking electronica productions (e.g., “Pacific,” 1989; “Cübik,” 1990) and was energetic for ten years (culminating in 808:88:98, a best-of compilation covering 1988-1998). Within the 1990s Massey used himself like a maker and remixer for hire, especially collaborating with Björk on her behalf second recording, Post (1995). Though Massonix was mainly reserved as an alias for his live shows, Massey produced his documenting debut therefore in 1990 with Slightly LITTLE MORE, a one-off 12″ launch on Noise Information. Many years later on he released a full-length Massonix recording, Subtracks (2006), on Skam. In 2008 Massey performed as Massonix in the Glastonbury Event and in addition on tour with Autechre.
