Maribou State

U.K. garage area duo Maribou Condition was created in London in 2011 by previous classmates Chris Davids and Liam Ivory. The duo quickly founded their emotive, midtempo sound, mixing pitch-shifted vocals and warm, moving beats. Functioning tirelessly within their self-built studio room, Maribou Condition released many EPs and singles on Norman Cook’s Southern Fried Information in 2012 and 2013, and finished remixes for Fatboy Slim, Lana Del Rey, Ultraista, Kelis, and many more. The duo’s songs received support from high-profile English DJs such as for example Zane Lowe, Gilles Peterson, and Pete Tong, plus they started touring extensively, striking festival dates all over the world. Ninja Melody sublabel Counter Information authorized the duo in 2015, liberating the “Rituals” 12″ accompanied by full-length debut Portraits.
