Manuel Esperón

Along with songwriting partner Ernesto Cortázar, Manuel Esperón made up many essential Latin standards including “Simply no Volvere,” “Cocula,” “Ay Jalisco Simply no Te Rajes,” “Yo Soy Mexicano,” and “Amor con Amor Se Paga.” His tunes have already been performed by Chavela Vargas, Pedro Infante, Los Panchos, and Jorge Negrete. He obtained his greatest publicity in the us during 1945 when his track “The Three Caballeros” gained a performance inside a Disney film from the same name.
