Man on Earth

NY indie rockers Guy on Earth pull from an array of influences — from Radiohead to U2 to Green Floyd — when conjuring their so-called “introspective and experimental rock spectacle.” Actually nowhere near as pretentious since it noises, their heartfelt, wide-open debut record, 2004’s ironically called Disposable Noises for the Fickle Brain, discovers bandmembers Steven Nathan (vocals/electric guitar), Ron Ferrante (electric guitar), Myles Ouziel (bass/piano), and Alex Giacari (drums) starting up with indie Forward Thinking Information. The Man on the planet EP made an appearance in 2006, accompanied by Something Better a season afterwards in 2007, ENOUGH TIME Spent Wondering in ’09 2009, as well as the amazing Things They’d Hardly ever Have confidence in 2011. A compilation of early recordings, IN THE EVENT You Haven’t Noticed, premiered in 2012, simply as the music group began documenting a follow-up to Factors They’d Hardly ever Believe.
