Magneta Lane

Lexi Valentine (vocals/electric guitar), Nadia Ruler (drums), and France (bass) compose the girlish punk noises of Magneta Street. The trio emerged jointly in fall 2003 and spent another year playing displays around their indigenous Toronto. They build a brash, sassy rock and roll audio that resonates the self-confidence from the Runaways as well as the Pretenders while honoring such affects as Nancy Sinatra, Sonic Youngsters, as well as the Kinks. Magneta Lane’s debut, The Regular Fan EP, was released on Paper Handbag in fall 2004. Dance with Daggers, that was made by the production group of MSTRKRFT — Loss of life from Above 1979’s Jesse F. Keeler and manufacturer Al-P — proclaimed Magneta Lane’s studio room full-length discharge in Apr 2006.
