Rochester, NY, large rock and roll quintet Lucifer was formed in 1969 by vocalist Joe Mattioli, guitarist Pete Skelton, and pianist Joe Gallo, who all previously teamed in Infirmary; previous Poor Center bassist Butch Biocca and drummer Joe Bertola curved out the lineup, which regarding to star also may possess briefly included upcoming Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm, who hardly ever recorded using the group.
