Los Herederos de Nuevo León

Focusing on norteño music, Los Herederos de Nuevo León certainly are a regional Mexican group from Monterrey, Nuevo León. Made up of Lalo Mora, Jr., Javier Rios, Jr., C. Eliud Lopez, Jr., and Homero de Leon, Jr., the quartet associates are the kids of Lalo Mora, Javier Ríoperating-system, Eliud López, and Homero de Leon of Los Invasores de Nuevo León, a renowned norteño music group whose history goes back towards the 1970s. Los Herederos — actually “the heirs” — produced their full-length record debut with Normas a la Mitad (2004) on Serca Music. Following albums released with the label consist of Que Te Quede Claro (2005), Los Herederos de Nuevo León en Vivo: Desde Zuazuz World (2007), and Llegando a Ti (2008), the last mentioned which spawned the strike one “Tres Vueltas.” As the band’s singles regularly charted, it wasn’t before 2009’s En Manos del Tiempo, using its one “Palabra de Borracho,” that they damaged the Mexican Regional Top 10. Accompanied by a thorough tour of Mexico and america, it established the stage for the record to drill down deeper for singles — “Quisiera” this year 2010 and “Un Que Se Va” the next calendar year — that also charted.
