Los Angeles Gospel Messengers

The LA Gospel Messengers were formed with the legendary James A. Cleveland in the fall of 1982; made up of teenagers from churches through the entire L.A. region, the ensemble produced its concert debut on January 31, 1983, launching their self-titled debut record immediately after. In the wake of Cleveland’s loss of life on Feb 9, 1991, the L.A. Gospel Messengers forged on, honoring their founder’s storage using the live We Haven’t Overlooked You.
