San Francisco’s experimental turntablist trio Live Human being shaped in 1996, when turntablist DJ Pursuit (aka Carlos Aguilar), drummer/percussionist Albert Mathias, and bassist Andrew Kushin united their varied musical experiences to generate spontaneous, constantly mutating instrumental hip-hop.
