Light Pollution

Acquiring an ambient tack to generating indie rock and roll, an ethereal, otherworldly appear somewhere within the Arcade Flame and Grizzly Tolerate, Light Pollution gradually constructed a reputation as you of Chicago’s top (and one among its most amazing) rings. Led by vocalist/songwriter Jim Cicero, they produced in the Windy Town suburb of DeKalb. Housed within a Victorian dwelling, they used its exclusive acoustics to build sensitive, oddly angled, jangly-jagged compositions. Light Air pollution released their self-titled, self-produced debut EP in 2008, learning to be a darling of discerning websites. The group inked to Carpark Information the following calendar year.
