Leviathan

Leviathan is really a progressive metal group formed in Colorado in 1989 by guitarist/leader Ronnie Skeen, guitarist Steve Fugate, and vocalist Tom Braden; the initial lineup was finished by drummer Ty Tammeus and bassist Adam Escobedo. Right before the group documented its self-titled debut EP in 1991, Fugate still left the group to become changed by John Lutzow. Leviathan documented its full-length debut in 1993 with brand-new vocalist Jack port Aragon; Deepest Secrets Beneath became a hit overseas, especially in Japan. Nevertheless, the group almost fell apart soon after; Skeen and Lutzow noticed the rest of the group defect, and transferred to plug the openings with vocalist Jeff Ward, bassist Derek Blake, and drummer Trevor Helfer. This lineup documented Riddles, Queries, Poetry, and Outrage in 1996.
