Leslie Baker

A talented acoustic bassist who is definitely a fixture within the Los Angeles region, Leslie Baker began monitoring music and using bass when she was six. Her initial professional work was when she was 12 and she considers her most significant teacher and primary mentor to have already been Crimson Callender. Baker provides played with a multitude of jazz and blues performers like the L.A. Jazz Culture All-Stars, Barbara Morrison, Floyd Dixon (she’s recorded using the second option three), Willie Dixon, Expenses Doggett, Earl Palmer, Gerald Wiggins, Friend Collette, Oscar Dark brown Jr., the Cheathams, Ray Pizzi, Expenses Henderson and many more. In 1998 Leslie Baker released her debut documenting as a innovator, Askew on her behalf Ranch Cabin label.
