Leonhard Paminger

From age ten this Austrian composer received his education in Vienna and held a station being a bass at St. Stephen’s where he discovered the artwork of composition by himself. Paminger was a schoolmaster and a Rektor of St. Nikola’s. He kept this placement until 1557 when he was demoted to a secretary for preserving Lutheran beliefs; even so, Paminger continued to be at St. Nikola’s until his loss of life. Among the most significant early Lutheran composers he put together four quantities of hymns released after his loss of life: over 1000. A few of his functions were contained in French and German anthologies displaying his worldwide notoriety.
