Kumail Nanjiani

A smart standup comedian with a distinctive cultural perspective, Kumail Nanjiani was created in Karachi, Pakistan but moved to Iowa to wait college. He previously never even noticed a standup comic before a fellow Grinnell Scholar demonstrated him Jerry Seinfeld’s HBO unique I’m LETTING YOU KNOW going back Period. He was immediately connected, but he didn’t try his hands at carrying out until he graduated and shifted to Chicago. Nanjiani went to Second City composing classes and performed at open-mike evenings around town, and in 2007, he released his one-man display, Unpronounceable. In 2008, he brought the display to LA and NEW YORK, landed employment as writer for the Humor Central tv program Michael and Michael Possess Issues, and started making regular looks for the network’s The Colbert Record. This year 2010 he starred in the film Existence as WE REALIZE It and in 2011 he joined up with Ali Baker and released the video video game/humor podcast The Indoor Children. In 2013 he hosted his Humor Central unique, Beta Male, that was also released as his debut recording that same yr.
