Klangstof

The dreamy alt-indie of Amsterdam-based group Klangstof may be the product of Norwegian singer/songwriter and producer Koen van de Wardt. His first motivation was Radiohead’s Okay Pc, which he utilized to hone his instrument-playing abilities. Once he began writing his personal materials, he bolstered his songcraft capabilities with research at Hedmark University or college University in Norway. After a stint as bassist with Dutch indie music group Moss, vehicle de Wardt dedicated himself towards the Klangstof task in 2014. After liberating the solitary “Hostage” in 2016, he was authorized with Mind of the Genius, house to Zhu and Gallant. The sweeping tune integrated the icy soundscapes well-liked by Radiohead within their late-era functions, while also infusing a number of the ethereal atmospherics of Sigur Rós and cool flourishes of Alt-J in to the mix.
