Judith Holofernes

A German musician, guitarist, and lyricist, Judith Holofernes is most beneficial referred to as the lead singer from the alt-pop music group Wir Sind Helden (We Are Heroes). Holofernes was created November 12, 1976 in Berlin, where she resided until she was six, shifting with her mom to Freiburg in Southern Germany, where she got her initial taste of executing being a road musician. She came back to Berlin to review at Universitat de Kunste, majoring in marketing communications, but still left without graduating. She released a single record, Kamikazefliege, in 1999, nonetheless it marketed badly. Recruiting keyboardist Jean-Michel Tourette, drummer Pola Roy (Holofernes and Roy ultimately wedded), and bassist Tag Tavassol, she produced the music group Wir Sind Helden. The music group documented and self-released a five-song EP, Guten Label, in 2002, so when the name tune became a left-field German radio strike, the group agreed upon to EMI’s Brands subsidiary, issuing a full-length debut, Die Reklamation, in 2003. Its 2005 follow-up, Von Hier an Blind, moved into the German and Austrian graphs at number 1, generating the strikes “Gekommen um zu Bleiben” and “Nur ein Wort.” Soundso, which reached number 2 in the German pop graphs, made an appearance in 2007, having a 4th recording, Bring Mich Nach Hause, turning up this year 2010. Holofernes released another solo recording, Ein Leichtes Schwert, in 2014.
