An affable and thought-provoking Canadian singer/songwriter in the vein of folk-pop mainstays just like the Lumineers and Mumford & Sons, Joshua Hyslop specializes within an atmospheric, soul-searching mixture of brooding chamber pop and bucolic indie folk. Citing affects like Iron & Wines, Ryan Adams, Wilco, and Bon Iver, and hailing from Abbotsford, Uk Columbia, Hyslop released his debut EP Cool Wind flow in 2011 via Nettwerk Information. Where the Hill Fits the Valley, his critically acclaimed first studio room long player, came the following season, with another two years specialized in life on the highway. In 2015, Hyslop released another EP, Living & Dying, aswell as his sophomore full-length, In Deepest Blue.
