Joseph Kipness

b. 5 Apr 1911, USA, d. 29 November 1982, NEW YORK, NY, USA. Active like a Broadway maker from the first 40s, Kipness’ credits included some large successes. In the 40s he created the revue Bright Lamps Of 1944 (1943), the takes on The Duke Of Darkness (1944) and Star-Spangled Family members (1945), before one of is own most effective displays, High Button Sneakers (1947).
