Jolliver Arkansaw was the group originally referred to as Bo Grumpus — these were a quartet formed in Boston seeing that the Bait Store, who moved to NY and took the name Bo Grumpus on the recommendation of manufacturer Felix Pappalardi and his wife. They documented one respectable record on Atco under that name before a label change to Bell Information resulted in legal problems that forced these to relinquish the name Bo Grumpus. “Jolliver Arkansaw” was the brand new name under that your group — Eddie Mottau (electric guitar), Joe Hutchinson (electric guitar, keyboards), Jim Colegrove (bass), and Ronnie Blake (drums) — documented their next record, Home, that was released in 1969. The group split up early another season. Mottau, Hutchinson, and Colgrove possess all enjoyed lengthy subsequent professions in music.
