The youngest brother of Lynyrd Skynyrd founder Ronnie Van Zant and .38 Special’s Donnie Van Zant, Johnny Van Zant was raised within the darkness of his older siblings, who surfaced as major numbers in rock and roll & roll through the early and mid-’70s.
