Given birth to and raised in Okemah, Oklahoma, vocalist/songwriter John Fullbright was barely out of senior high school when he began using the celebration circuit. Raised in the music of hometown hero Woody Guthrie and steeped in the wealthy Americana artistry of genre-hopping mavericks like Townes Truck Zandt, Randy Newman, and Steve Earle, Fullbright began his music education in the piano at age five. He afterwards added electric guitar to his arsenal, and in his past due teens he started honing his build at the renowned Blue Door in Oklahoma Town, eventually launching a live record using the venue’s creator, Greg Johnson. He spent the ensuing years touring and building his group of fans, a lot of whom added donations to invest in his 2012 Blue Dirt Information studio room debut, From the bottom Up. The warm and close Songs implemented in 2014, once again on Blue Dirt Information.
