Joel Dugrenot

Inspired from the past due-’60s progressive rock and roll of Soft Model and Peter Gabriel, Joel Dugrenot surfaced among the most imaginative People from france musicians from the past due 20th century. An associate of keyboardist/composer Cyrille Verdeaux’s early-’70s music group Clearlight, featuring Ruler Crimson violinist David Combination and guitarist/flute participant Jean-Claude d’Agostini, he continued to create Zao with electrical pianist Francois Cahen and saxophone/clarinet participant Yochk’o Seffer soon after their departure from Magma in 1973. Joined up with by electrical violinist Jean Yves Rigaud, drummer Jean Mytruong, and vocalist Mauncia Platon, the group documented five unforgettable albums before disbanding in 1977. Dugrenot and Seffer also proved helpful together in Quickness Limit, a middle-’70s music group led by drummer George Juda. Although he released three amazing single albums — Boomerang in 1982, Find in 1984, and Mosaiques in 1989 — Dugrenot faded in the music picture by the finish of the 10 years.
