Joel Chernoff was created in Atlanta, GA, but moved to Cincinnati, OH, in a very early age. He grew up in the Midwest and raised being a Messianic Jew, or a Jew that also feels that Jesus is definitely their savior. He relocated to Philadelphia after senior high school and began the 1st Messianic Jewish rock-band, Lamb, in 1972. They documented on independent brands and became well-known in the Christian rock and roll underground, eventually splitting up in 1992. He became a significant number in the Messianic motion, eventually becoming influenced enough to come back to music in the past due ’90s. He released The Repair of Israel in 1999, accompanied by Arrive Dance BESIDE ME in 2002.
