Joe Vasconcellos

Son of the Brazilian diplomatic along with a Chilean mom, vocalist/songwriter Joe Vasconcellos lived in a number of countries all over the world, absorbing components from different civilizations. While surviving in Italy, the musician examined music at Nicolo Paganni’s Conservatory, playing percussion when getting together with regional musicians. When came back to Chile Joe Vasconcellos became a member of Congreso, composing one of is own most acclaimed music, “Hijo del Sol Luminoso.” In 1989 his first single album, known as Esto Es Single Una Canción, premiered. Merging Latin jazz, modern folk, exotic, and Afro-American rhythms, his second record, known as Verde Cerca, was released in 1992. A live record documented in 1999, released beneath the name of Vivo, put together his greatest compositions.
