J’Matra

Much like Enigma or Deep Forest, J’Matra is usually a collaboration between Tom Richardson and Joshua Mobley, who play a number of electronic instruments for his or her advanced, yet evocative, music excursions. “J’Matra is usually sound, creativity, and illusion,” clarifies Richardson. “Meditative rhythms syncopate with music of your brain to make a calm ‘chill’ environment. From analog synths to digital sampling to live chamber devices, J’Matra may be the ambient knowledge.” Richardson started singing at age group of four, and performed electric guitar and drums for cathedral and college jazz rings his whole adolescence. He received a qualification in business/entertainment at UCLA, and proved helpful as a studio room musician and engineer, moving his concentrate to digital instrumentation: keyboards, samplers, computer systems. Richardson can be co-author of seven days to Greater Vitality, a six-hour self-help audio established and workbook. Joshua Mobley was classically been trained in piano since age group six and was previously a keyboardist with Car & Cherokee (Morgan Creek Information). He’s also a studio room owner/producer using a coding background concentrating on sound manipulation. Both began working jointly in 1994, plus they shaped J’Matra in 1996 and released their initial self-titled record of digital and live musical instruments, that provides an artistic connection with interesting sonic contrasts.
