Jerusalem in my own Center was founded by Montreal citizen and Lebanese country wide Radwan Ghazi Moumneh in 2005 seeing that an art task consisting of modern Arabic and electronic music in cooperation with 16mm film projections and strategically oriented light installations, to explore the romantic relationships between music, visuals, and market. Though popular over the city’s artwork scene, performances have already been intermittent, generally occurring a few times annually. The number of performers can either end up being Moumneh solo — he’s an established documenting and live engineer, and a manufacturer and a composer — or with up to 35 individuals. In 2011, he started working intensely within a trio with French musician Jérémie Regnier and Chilean filmmaker and visible musician Malena Szlam Salazar. The group cooperation led to them putting your signature on to Montreal’s indie Constellation Information and launching their debut record, Mo7it Al-Mo7it (Sea of the Sea), in March of 2013.
