Jerry’s Kids

Boston hardcore/thrash metallists Jerry’s Children (named following a long-running fund-raising business that comedian Jerry Lewis formed for kids with cerebral palsy) formed originally in 1981, growing out of an area picture that included such rings as SS Decontrol, the F.U.’s, Freeze, Bad FX, and Gang Green (the last mentioned which would frequently swap associates with Jerry’s Children on / off). Jerry’s Children caught their initial break in 1982, if they had been featured on the compilation of regional talent (THAT IS Boston, Not really L.A.), which made a hype for the music group beyond simply Boston. 1983 noticed the release of the debut record for X-Claim Information, Is certainly This My Globe. The group spilt in the label quickly thereafter, resulting in the album getting shortly away from print, prior to the Taang! label reissued it. 1989 found the release of the second and last release, Kill Wipe out Kill, before breaking up. Although there have been a lot of switches within the Jerry’s Children lineup, the best-known included associates Rick Jones on vocals and bass, Rockin’ Bob Cenci on business lead electric guitar, Dave Aronson on tempo guitar, and Jack port Clark on drums.
