Jerry Wayne

b. 1921, Buffalo, NY, USA. An acting professional and vocalist who had many US graph entries in the past due 40s, including ‘A Small Bird Informed Me’ (with Janette Davis), ‘Space FILLED WITH Roses’, ‘You Contact Everybody Darling’, as well as the 1948 US #1 1 using the Ken Griffin and Hal Natural cotton arrangement from the German melody, ‘You Can’t Become Accurate, Dear’ (‘Du Kannst Nicht Treu Sein’). Wayne also performed the part of Sky Masterson within the London creation of Frank Loesser’s Men And Dolls (1953), changed during the work by Edmund Hockridge. 3 years later on, Wayne made an appearance with Jack port Hulbert and Cicely Courtneidge within the stage musical Celebrity Manufacturer, and, in 1969, had written the lyrics to his boy Jeff Wayne’s music for the London Western End creation of Two Towns, predicated on Charles Dickens’ book, AN ACCOUNT Of Two Towns. Father and boy pre-dated the 1983 musical, La Cage Aux Folles, by composing a music for the display, entitled ‘The Greatest Of Instances’.
