Jawen

The tiny rock ensemble Jawen formed throughout the core of brothers Nicolas and Olivier Jawen. Hailing from Evreux in Normandy, the brothers spent period learning and playing overseas (Nicolas in the U.S.; Olivier in the U.K.) before merging pushes in Paris in 2006. Pursuing time spent back Normandy, the duo released its debut, Two, in 2008. Using a focus on performing in British and a intentionally retro appeal located in shore rock and roll and blues, the record gained some achievement but didn’t garner much interest in European countries. After signing up for Believe Information, the band started work on a fresh record with an intentional concentrate on the U.S. marketplace (pursuing in the footsteps of Phoenix) and a solid sense of international curiosity about American rock and roll (not really unlike Japan’s Fukumimi), culminating in 2010’s 1, 2, 2 Is certainly Five.
