Describing his appear as “naive computer jazz,” Dutch musician Jameszoo (Mitchel Van Dinther) makes abstract, hard-to-pigeonhole music influenced by the external restricts of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music. Given birth to in the tiny city of Den Bosch, he produced his name as an eclectic DJ — rotating from Krautrock to experimental hip-hop — through the past due 2000s. He started producing immediately after, remixing songs by Pixelord, Shlohmo, and additional underground beatsmiths. His debut 7″ solitary “Leaf People,” a downbeat soul-jazz monitor offering vocalist Coultrain, made an appearance on Dutch label Kindred Spirits in 2011. This was implemented in 2013 by Jheronimus, a 10″ EP that highlighted even more live instrumentation and a standard jazzier feel, aswell as his very own electronically manipulated vocals. He spent another few years executing at night clubs and festivals, writing the stage with performers ranging from Adam Pants to sunlight Ra Arkestra. He also remixed tracks by Nightmares on Polish, Awanto 3, and Cid Rim. In 2016, he agreed upon to Traveling Lotus’ Brainfeeder imprint and released his debut record Fool. Featuring a lot more live instrumentation than his prior recordings, the record included efforts from Brainfeeder regular Thundercat aswell as two of Truck Dinther’s primary affects, Steve Kuhn and Arthur Verocai.
