James “Son” Thomas

Among the last great traditional Delta blues music artists, James “Kid” Thomas design conveyed the energy, earnesty and integrity of masterful nation artists want Arthur “Big Young man” Crudup. Thomas was raised on the plantation in Mississippi and performed in juke bones and barrelhouses before he started saving in the past due ’60s. He made an appearance in the movies Delta Blues Vocalist: Wayne “Sonny Ford” Thomas in 1970 and present My Poor Center Simplicity: Mississippi Delta Bluesmen in 1975, in addition to the brief Mississippi Delta Blues in 1974. Thomas also produced festival looks in the ’70s and ’80s. He documented for Transatlantic, Matchbox, Southern Folklore and local brands in the ’60s,’70s and ’80s.
