Jacques Loussier Trio

b. 26 Oct 1934, Angers, France. A classically trained pianist, Loussier discovered a profession in commercial well-known music more profitable. After that, in 1959, he strike upon the thought of executing the traditional piano functions of Johann Sebastian Bach inside a quasi-jazz design. As well as Pierre Michelot and Christian Garros, the trio got enormous international achievement using the wider general public. The idea, the low-key detached design, and perhaps the huge industrial success, didn’t endear the group towards the hardcore jazz viewers. In the mainstream, his interpretation of Bach is way better referred to as the long-running music associated the award earning Benson & Hedges film and tv advertisements from the 60s and 70s. In the 90s and beyond Loussier attempted the same crossover using the functions of Satie, Bach, Chopin and Mozart.
