Inthevisualz

Since their inception in 1998, the Inthevisualz have already been breaking cultural boundaries using the five completely different and unique MCs that front the group. Their name, a play on the term “people,” also provides focus on their different ethnicity’s and backgrounds besides supplying a smart twist on phrases. Supported by DJ Ironic, Azma, Z.G.S., Uforic, RezRnez, and Change Griffens first began freestyling with each other before investing in the band. Dispersing their wings in the NORTH PARK region, the music was a Western world Coast twist over the socially mindful approach from the legendary NY Native Tongues staff. The group released their initial EP, Mental Thieves, in 2002.
