Weiss is from Philadelphia and today resides in NEW YORK. An extremely perceptive author of tunes about passionate irony (which were included in Anne Hillsides, Deidre McCalla, Robin Plants, Marcy Marxer, Cathy Fink, among others), she’s been nominated for any BMI Songwriters Award and two NY Music Awards. She actually is also a contributor towards the Fast Folk Musical Publication. Among her produces were 1992’s Outdoors and Curious, 1996’s Certainly and 1997’s Weiss Xmas.
