Like a one-shot nom de plume for music genius Mark Noticed, iDEoLA was a combined achievement musically, if not really financially. He was touted as another smart upstart on Tonio K.’s WHAT? Information. The only real iDEoLA recording, Tribal Opera arrived in 1987 declaring to include “jungle rhythms.” Jungle rhythms there have been not really (unless you’re discussing a precision-timed, white-collar jungle), but the actual iDEoLA experiment do accomplish was to display the skills of Mark Noticed like a one-man-band. A lot of his later on successes arrived in the wake of the quirky side task.
