Humberto Araujo

Starting as a specialist in the ’80s, Humberto Araújo worked well as an arranger and instrumentalist for João Donato, Tim Maia, Jorge Ben Jor, Ivan Lins, Paralamas perform Sucesso, Elza Soares, Leny Andrade, Zé Ramalho, Carlos Lyra, Leila Pinheiro, Nelson Gonçalves, and Noca da Portela, amongst others. Like a composer, he published soundtracks for theatre (Fedra, aimed by Augusto Boal; Pipoka and Corda Bamba, from the Dutch group Munganga), movie theater (having been granted using the Iracema trophy to discover the best music in the Movie theater Event of Fortaleza using the soundtrack for the film A Última Canção perform Beco, by João Velho, 1985), and Television (the 1982 documentary Pantanal Matogrossense, by Paula Saldanha/Roberto Werneck).
